Located in the northern expansion of Hamad International Airport, the Al Mourjan Business Lounge – The Garden covers an impressive 7,390 m² (79,545 sq ft) and offers seating for up to 707 guests. Access is complimentary for Qatar Airways First and Business Class passengers, while other travelers can purchase entry for a 6-hour stay.
Layout & Access
To reach the lounge, you can take sky train ride to the C gates and then access it via elevator. The lounge features distinct zones:
-
The East Wing is a dine-and-drink hub with buffet stations, a deli, sushi bar, à la carte options, and bar service
-
The West Wing offers quieter seating, water features, wireless charging, and cozy corners perfect for work or rest
Dining Highlights
The Garden Lounge serves hot and cold buffet with à la carte dishes—ranging from steak and biryani to inventive vegetarian and vegan options. Click here for their menu.
One of the standout features of the Al Mourjan Business Lounge – The Garden is its connection to the Louis Vuitton Lounge by Yannick Alléno. This elegant dining space blends the luxury of Louis Vuitton’s signature style with a refined menu curated by Michelin-starred chef Yannick Alléno.
Wellness & Quiet Spaces
Wellness facilities include 24 quiet rooms, seven spa rooms, a fitness studio, and Dior Spa. Showers are also available on a first-come, first-served basis. Bathrooms and shower suites are stocked with premium Diptyque products, adding a touch of luxury to your pre-flight refresh.Quiet rooms can be booked for up to six hours, but they fill up quickly—so I recommend checking availability as soon as you arrive. We initially went after having a meal and were told there were no rooms left. Fortunately, I checked again an hour later and managed to secure a double quiet room, which came with two comfortable recliner chairs. Single rooms are also available. Each quiet room is equipped with storage space and a mini fridge stocked with bottled water. They also provide a plush blanket.
Extras & Family Areas
-
Family rooms, game areas, and a playroom make The Garden lounge family-friendly
-
Business and meeting spaces are available, along with a business center and workstations
Final Verdict
The Al Mourjan Business Lounge – The Garden is undoubtedly one of the most visually stunning and spacious airport lounges in the world. Its wellness facilities, quiet rooms, and premium touches make it a relaxing retreat before your journey. That said, I wish there were more lounge-style reclining chairs available, as many passengers simply want a comfortable place to nap.
While the lounge offers a variety of dining options, I found the food to be more on the average side in terms of taste. If access is included with your ticket, it’s absolutely worth spending a few hours here to enjoy the amenities. However, if you’re considering purchasing entry, I’d only recommend it if you plan to take full advantage of the wellness areas, dining spaces, and exclusive lounge zones.
