Best Hammam in Dubai Mall | Izil Beauty Moroccan Spa Review & Experience

During my visit to Dubai, I decided to treat myself to a spa day at Izil Beauty, located in the Dubai Mall. Known for its authentic Moroccan treatments and serene atmosphere, Izil offers separate spa facilities for men and women — making it the perfect escape for anyone looking to relax and recharge.

Booking & First Impressions

I booked the Izil Signature Hammam (90 minutes), which includes the traditional hammam treatment followed by a 15-minute massage.

Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly and provided with slippers before being seated in their waiting area, complete with water, biscotti, and dates. The space felt serene and beautifully designed.

Tip: If you need to use the restroom, I recommend doing so before proceeding to the changing area.

Changing & Preparation

I didn’t have to wait long before being called to the women’s changing room, where my therapist handed me a towel, disposable briefs, and a bag for my belongings. Lockers were provided to safely store valuables, and everything was organized with impressive attention to detail.

The Hammam Ritual

I was then taken to a private treatment room for the hammam. The entire process was relaxing and refreshing — and I loved how clean and soft my skin felt afterward. After the hammam, I was guided to a small but beautifully decorated lounge area where I was served tea, biscotti, and dates. 

Shortly after that, I was greeted by the massage therapist for my 15-minute massage. While it wasn’t the most outstanding massage I’ve had, it complemented the hammam treatment well and left me feeling relaxed.

Finishing Touch – Hair Styling

The final step was at their hair styling section, where my hair was curled beautifully — the perfect way to end a spa day. Leaving the spa feeling refreshed, pampered, and with styled hair was such a treat.

Izil Beauty at Dubai Mall offers an authentic Moroccan hammam experience in a serene and private setting. If you’re looking for a thoughtful gift, consider the hammam package — I gifted it to my sister, and she came away feeling refreshed and pampered.
