Swissôtel Makkah is well known for its prime location just steps from Masjid al-Haram, offering breathtaking views of the Kaaba. These were the main reasons we chose to stay here.

This five-star property offers over 1,500 elegantly designed rooms and suites, many of which offer breathtaking views of Masjid al-Haram.with stunning views of either Masjid al-Haram.

We booked the Classic Room – King Bed, Kaaba View, and I can confidently say that it was the best view in the world. Waking up and falling asleep to the sight of the Kaaba was an unforgettable blessing. The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-maintained.

Overall Verdict

Swissôtel Makkah is ideal for pilgrims who are looking for convenience during their stay in Makkah. With its prime location, exceptional service, and thoughtful amenities, it remains one of the top hotel choices near Masjid al-Haram.

The only downside was the busy elevators, which sometimes meant long wait times — and this was in February. I can only imagine how much busier it must get during Ramadan and Hajj.

Seats convert into a fully flat bed.
